Interclub Competitions
The Wellington Croquet Association runs Interclub competitions in the Wellington region for both Golf and Association Croquet.
The competitions start in early October and run through December. The format varies depending on the number of entries.
Generally Golf Croquet competitions consist of round robin pool play with finals play-offs.
Association Croquet competitions are generally round robin.
Golf Croquet Interclub Handicap play
Played on Sunday mornings starting at 9:30 am
Teams of 2 players
Handicap play using bisques
Match consists of five 13 point games - one doubles, two singles and two reverse singles
Games are time limited
Golf Croquet Interclub levels play
Played on Wednesday mornings starting at 9:30 am
Teams of 3 players
Match consists of six 13 point games - three doubles and three singles
Games are time limited
Association Croquet one game a day
Played on Monday afternoons starting at 1:00 pm
Teams of 2 players
Advanced Handicap play
Match consists of one game of doubles
Games have a 3 hour time limit
Association Croquet Two games a day
Played on Wednesday starting at 9:30 am
Teams of 2 players
Advanced Handicap play
Match consists of one game of doubles in the morning and two games of singles in the afternoon
Games have a 3 hour time limit
